Purple City Genetics is one of the longest running breeding operations in the Bay Area, founded in 2008 by Spencer and Nate in Oakland. They started as a small wholesale nursery serving Prop 215 collectives and have grown into one of the most respected genetics houses in California, with their cuts now grown by licensed cultivators across the state.
The catalog is California hybrids built around terpene-forward parents. Apricot Helix is the flagship and one of the most consistent fruit-forward cuts in the legal market. Lemonade Helix and Forbidden Sherb followed in the same hunt cycle and share a citrus and gas blend that has become a PCG signature.
The cuts we hold are sourced direct, with the mother plant lineage documented and held in our clean room. PCR HLVd-tested quarterly. Re-tested at every batch release. Not knockoffs, not seed-grown reproductions, not "called by the name" mystery cuts traded online.
